Questions
Do I need signal on the sideline?
Yes, the app works online. That way you and your fellow coach see exactly the same. If the signal drops for a moment, the match clock just keeps running. Recording a swap or a goal works again once you are connected: you get a message and try again right away.
Is there a version for Android?
Yes. On Android the app is in Google Play, tablets too. On iPhone and iPad the app is in the App Store.
How do I sign in?
With Apple on an iPhone or iPad, with Google on Android, or with your email address and a code we email you.
What do you keep about my players?
Only what is needed for the lineup and the playing time: a name, a shirt number, the positions, the fitness, your notes and what you record per match, such as an injury or a goal. Only the coaches of the team see it. A shared link shows only each player's first name, shirt number or initials, the place on the pitch, the swaps, goals and cards.
What do I do with a stand-in?
You type a name and tap where the stand-in can play. They play only this match and do not count after that. If the stand-in stays with the team, you make them a regular player.
We did not track the match in the app. Does it still count?
Yes. Fill in the match afterwards: you say who was there and the app shares out the playing time following the substitution plan. If it went differently, you change that before you confirm.
Do parents or teammates need an account?
No. They get a link. Nothing more.
Can I coach together with other coaches?
Yes, with more than one too. Let them scan the QR code, share the link or send an email. You use the app at the same time, each on your own phone, and you can all record a swap or a goal.
