Privacy
This privacy statement covers the website and the app. Here you can read what data we keep, what we use it for, and what you can do yourself.
Who we are
CoachHelpr belongs to Imego B.V., trading as Boostdev, in the Netherlands. Questions about your data go through the contact page, or mail support@coachhelpr.app.
Account
You sign in with Apple, with Google (on Android) or with your email address and a code we mail you. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we get your name, your email address and a fixed account id from them. With Apple, that email address can be a forwarding address from Apple. We use that name as your name in the app, and you change it under More > Account. We keep your email address and your name, and if you set them, also your language and your theme. If you invite a fellow coach by email, we send an invite to the address you enter. With every request the app sends its version, build number and platform (iOS or Android). We keep the latest values and the date with your account, so we know which versions are still in use.
Website
If you leave your email address on the website for the price update, we keep that address and your language. If you sign up for the Android version, we also keep your name, your club and your team. If you send a message through the contact page, we keep your name, your email address and your message. We keep such a message until it is handled, and then for one more year.
Players
As a coach you enter players yourself, or you fetch them from your club's member administration. We then keep the first and last name, the shirt number, whether someone is a stand-in, preferred positions and development positions, who is a key player or captain, whether someone counts as a woman, the fitness percentage, whether someone is injured, and your own notes for the coach. If you fetch players, we also keep the club member number. We keep no birth dates, no photos and no contact details of players.
Children
Players are often children. That is why we keep as little as possible: no date of birth, no photo and no contact details. Whether someone is injured is only seen by the team's coaches, and never appears on a shared link. As a parent, do you want to know what CoachHelpr holds about your child, or do you want us to delete it? Ask the coach or mail support@coachhelpr.app.
Matches
For a match we keep the date, the opponent and the pitch, from the KNHB fixture list or entered by hand. Also attendance (present, late, absent), the lineup and substitutions, the captain, playing time per player, and match events such as goals, cards and injuries, with a short note if you add one. If you write a match report, we keep that text with the match. Team agreements you add in the app are kept with the team. If a goal or card comes in through the link for keeping the score, we keep that it came through that link, not who entered it. If you get the sign-offs from your club, we also keep each player's answer from the club: present, absent or no reply. With the match events we keep a random id of the app on your phone. We use that id only to tell the coaches' phones apart. We use no advertising id, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
Who sees it
Only the coaches of that team see this data. If you share a lineup with a link, anyone with that link sees the team name, the opponent, the date, the time and the pitch, and the lineup: first names with the first letter of the last name, shirt numbers, who the captain is, and match events such as goals and cards. Once the match is over, your report is on it too. Your team agreements are on it, unless you turn that off in the team rules. Fitness, injuries and notes are never on it. Anything you type in a report or an agreement can be read by anyone with the link, so put nothing in it that is not meant for everyone. The link works until you revoke it on the played match or delete the team. If you share the link for keeping the score, anyone with that link can enter goals and cards during the match. They see the score, the course of the match and the first names of the players on the pitch. After the final whistle nothing more can be added, and you can always revoke that link.
What we use it for
To propose the lineup, run the match and keep playing time fair. Nothing else. We do not sell your data and we show no ads.
Who we share it with
We use Brevo to send email: your sign-in code, a co-coach invite and mail from the website. If you sign in with Google or Apple, that sign-in goes through Google or Apple. Our servers are in the European Union and we run them ourselves. If you fetch players from your club's member administration, you sign in on that administration's own sign-in page and we never see your password. The app keeps the key from that sign-in on your phone and sends it along when you fetch players, so our server can fetch your team's names. We do not keep that key on our server, and we send nothing back to the member administration. Club, team and fixture data and club logos come from the KNHB fixture service. The app sometimes fetches them directly, and the KNHB then sees your phone's IP address. We never send names, email addresses or player data to the KNHB. If the app crashes or something goes wrong, the app sends an error report to Sentry, on servers in the European Union. Such a report holds what went wrong and where in the app, the phone model, the versions of the operating system and the app, and your account id. We never include names, email addresses or player data, and Sentry does not keep your IP address. Sentry keeps an error report for 90 days at most. Our sponsors' logos come from our own server, we give no data to sponsors and we only count per day how often a logo was shown.
How long we keep it
We keep your data as long as your account exists. If you ask for a sign-in code and then do not sign in, we delete that account after seven days. If you delete a team, we delete its players and matches. If you archive a player, we erase that player's name, notes, injury, shirt number and member number after a year. Their playing time stays in old matches, under the name Oud-speler. If a parent wants this sooner, archive the player and email support@coachhelpr.app. If you do not use CoachHelpr for two years, you get an email. If you then do not open the app for a month, we delete your account as described below. If you delete your account, we delete your account, your feedback, the invites to your address and every team where you are the only coach, with its players and matches. A team you share with another coach stays with that coach. We keep contact messages for a year and closed invites for 30 days. We keep the sign-in log for 90 days and database backups for 30 days, so your email address can still be in them for that long after you delete your account. We use them only for security and to restore the service. You delete your account in the app under More > Account > Delete account, or read how at https://coachhelpr.app/en/delete-account.
Your rights
You can always ask what data we have about you, have it corrected or deleted. Send a message through the contact page or mail support@coachhelpr.app.
Cookies

Security
All traffic to the website and the app goes over HTTPS. Our servers keep logs with IP addresses, and the sign-in system records your email address with every sign-in attempt. We use those logs only to fight abuse and fix errors. We keep server errors for 30 days, with the time and what went wrong.
