How we count
The percentage is the part of the match you were on the pitch. If you play the whole match, that is 100 percent. On top of that, everyone has their own share: what is fair. With eleven places and fourteen players that is about 79 percent of the match. With twelve players it is more. The arrow shows whether you are above or below it.
If you are not there, that match does not count towards the total. If a stand-in plays, the rest share the time that is left.
If you arrive late, or drop out, your own share is smaller: you count for the time you could play. Once you are fit again, you count again from that moment.
If you are not fully fit, the coach puts you on 60 percent, for example. Your own share is then 60 percent of what it would otherwise be, and the count works with that too.
A key player may play a bit more if the coach says so. We show that separately. We do not correct it, because it is a choice, and that way it stays visible.
A few percent difference from your own share is noise, of course. We do nothing with it. If the difference grows, the app puts that player on the pitch a bit more often in the next matches. Slowly, so you keep recognising your team.
We also look at where you played: in one of your favourite spots, one of your less favourite spots or in a development position. Someone who plays enough but often stands in a less favourite spot, you can see that too.
The numbers are rounded. Measuring to the second is not needed.
